|dw:1428951968236:dw| Use cosine rule to find angle beta: \[\cos \beta=\frac{ adjacent }{ hypothenuse }=\frac{ 5 }{ 13 }\] and \[\beta=\cos ^{-1}(5/13)=67.4Degrees\] Secondly, we find the angle aside from this, which is 90-67.4=22.6degrees. Similarly the last angle ( the one at the peak of x and y) is 180-(90+22.6)=67.4degrees. Finally, use sine rule to find either x or y. I will try with one, first. \[\frac{ \sin22.6 }{ y }=\frac{ \sin67.4 }{ 5 }\] Find y.
