A wave has a wavelength of 2.7 × 10−7 m and a speed of 8×107 m/s in a particular material. What is its frequency in this material? and Find the wavelength of this wave in vacuum

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

you can solve the first bit of this knowing that \[v = f • \lambda\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 3.375*10 -15 or it could just be 3.375 but it said it was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wouldn't be to the -15 power, should be a positive exponent

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

\[8 (10^{7}) = f • 2.7  (10^{-7}) \]
