B. I remember this by: A red cat and an ox. Red cat = reduction at cathode, and an ox = anode oxidation.

Yes, always remember: Oxidation occurs at the anode; therefore the anode is negative since e- are lost (ANode OXidation). Reduction occurs at the cathode; therefore the cathode is positive since e- are gained (REDuction CAThode).
