WILL MEDAL AND FAN!!!! What are the coordinates of the fourth point that could be connected with (–6, 7), (11, 7), and (11, –7) to form a rectangle?
PLS HELP ME
The opposite of the first point
6,-7
CAN YOU EXPAIN?
its (-6,-7)
can you explain why it is?
just do the opposite of the first point
why the opposite of the first point?
wait i think its C i used a TI-84 Graphing Calculator to graph and then i used process of elimination from there. Makes sense?
C?
what is C ?
??????
I SO CONFUSE!
IF YOU EXPLAIN HOW YOU GOT YOUR ANSWER I WILL MEDAL AND FAN
okay graph the points you have first
then you will see where the missing point is to make a rectangle,
If you look at the points (11, 7) and (11, -7), you can see they're opposite of each other in a way. |dw:1429202314853:dw| So the last point has to contain 6 and 7. Since it's in the 3rd quad, everything is negative.. so the points have to be (-6, -7)
