Under which conditions would a gas most likely exhibit behavior that can be predicted by the ideal gas law? A. At low volumes and high pressures B. At normal temperatures and pressures C. At low temperatures and high pressures D. At high temperatures and low pressures
@dtan5457 @matt101 this i don't know A maybe help
Not sure how to explain it, just read the kinetic molecular theory. Gasses are closest to ideal at high temps and low pressures. "The work which is against intermolecular forces becomes less significant compared with the particles' kinetic energy, and the size of the molecules becomes less significant compared to the empty space between them."
Basically that is saying high temp and low pressures, have the molecules at far distances.. ideal gases have no attraction in between molecules, so...
B is answer then dtan?
the further apart the molecules the less attraction, which is what is ideal
no not normal temperatures
read what i wrote again
no i don't know dtan
C maybe
uhh i gave you the answer in what i wrote lol
its literally there word by word
