If a solution of gas is dissolved in a liquid, how does temperature affect the rate of dissolving? a. Higher temperature speeds up dissolving b. Higher temperature slows down dissolving c. Temperature has no effect on the rate of dissolving d. Only temperatures in excess of 100 °C increase the rate of dissolving

OpenStudy (insa):

Higher temperatures slow down the dissolving. The molecules distribute uniformly throughout the water. A cold solution holds more gas than a warm solution. As it heats up, it will begin releasing dissolved gasses. This is why when you raise the temperature of water you will begin seeing gas bubbles on top before it begins boiling.
