it is 7.4 you do 8^2-3^2=a^2 64-9=55 \[\sqrt{55}\]=7.4

I did \[8^2 - 3^2= 55\] but how do I put that in \[?\sqrt{?}\] form?

Yes I got 7.4, but I need it in radical form, which is the only part I do not know how to do.

If it's just \(\sqrt{55}\), then just put in \(1\sqrt{55}\) 55 is multiply of two prime numbers, so you cant simplify any more.

Okay, I was thinking that but I second guessed myself because what would be the point in using a 1? lol and yes khan academy :) I am actually *really* advanced smarts wise, guess you can't tell considering i got stuck on something so simple
