I need immediate help! I will give medal and Fan. Please tag me when you answer. Please help me put these balanced equations into a word equation! 1. 8 Fe + S8---> 8Fes 2. Mg(s) + O2(g)---> MgO2(s) 3. CuCo3----> CO2 + CuO 4. Zn + 2 HCl----> H2 + ZnCl2 5. 2 Al + 3 CuCl2---> 2AlCl3 + 3 Cu 6. 3 BaCl2 + Al2(SO4)3---> 2 AlCl3 + BaSO4 7. 2 NaOH + NiCl2---> 2 NaCl + Ni(OH)2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean that you have to name each compound

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

No, I have to write the equation in word format

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh no im sorry idk how to do that.....thank you for your help tho

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

You're Welcome! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry man, u need to tag some people in this that are good with chemistry.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Wouldn't you just write something like "1. 8 Fe + S8---> 8Fes" Eight moles of Iron reacts with one mole of S_8 to synthesize to 8 moles of iron (ll) sulfide?

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

@dtan5457 Yes!! Can you help me with the rest??

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

How about you try the next one?

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

@dtan5457 is it Magnesium reacts with two oxygens to synthesize magnesium oxidide?

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

sounds right

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Can you help me with 7? Since it is going to help me with the rest

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

@dtan5457

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

7. 2 NaOH + NiCl2---> 2 NaCl + Ni(OH)2 2 moles of sodium hydroxide react with nickel (ll) chloride in a double replacement reaction to form 2 moles of NaCl and the precipitate nickel (ll) hydroxide.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

you just need to the synthesis, decomposition and double replacement reactions

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Oh okay! Thank You :) @dtan5457

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

got it from here?
