So I have to find the measure of the central angle on a circle graph and it says I need to multiply the percentage of one part of the graph(say there graph is measuring how many people like basketball, tennis, and soccer) by 360. Basketball is 31%, would all I have to do is multiply 31 by 360? This is 11160. Would that be the central angle??

I think that you ahve to solve this proportion: \[31:100 = x:360\] where x is your central angle. So, Applying the fundamental property of proportion, I get: \[\Large x = \frac{{31 \times 360}}{{100}} = 111.6\;{\text{degree}}\]

Oh, so let me try one. If tennis was 80% then it would be: x=80x360/100=288
