OpenStudy (matlee):

how would i represent Endothermic reactions on a graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ΔH of a reaction is a positive number for endothermic reactions.

OpenStudy (matlee):

I dont understand im sorry.

OpenStudy (matlee):

What do those triangels mean?

OpenStudy (matlee):

Hi

OpenStudy (aaronq):

the triangle is the uppercase greek letter, delta (\(\Delta \)) . It means "change" in \(\Delta H \) is means change in enthalpy. On a graph, when the reactants are higher than the products, then energy is released, hence exothermic, viceversa, when the reactants are lower on the graph, then energy was absorbed, thus endothermic.

Thank you very much lol!
