Help me! (8th grade math) :(
Find a common denominator first.
A common denominator would be 35.
yeah i got 35 sorry if i took long
It's okay.
Changing the fractions into decimals would make this a ton easier. Are you allowed to use a calculator?
That's a good suggestion!
yes i can use a calulator
If you are take both the fractions, in this case 2/7 and 3/5 and turn them into decimals. Just simply divide them each. ex: 2 divided by 7 =
2/7 = .285 3/5 = .6
Now put the original numbers back into the equation. 10.285 1.6 Now that you have that divide 10.285 by the 1.6. This will give you the amount of 1.6's that can go into 10.285's
Can you do that for me?
You divide 10.285 by 1.6. These numbers are another way of saying 10 2/7, and 1 3/5
Use your calculator
Still there @Cookie_2046 ?
Yeah they bailed.
Well for any future people looking for the answer it is B: \[6\frac{ 3 }{ 7 }\]
Thank you.
