Hii so this is a calc question! Can someone help me find the value of the following limits? (Both of them require the use of L' Hopital's rule!)

^That's what I have so far for b!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats an algebraic nightmare,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its wrong? @amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i cant think of a convenient way to simplify it .... its not wrong, its just a pain

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we take out the error element of doing things by hand, and let the wolf take the derivatives, we get down to this (xe^2x + xe^x -2e^2x +2e^x)/(e^x-1)^3 (2xe^x + x - 3e^x+3)/(3 (e^x-1)^2) (2x +e^(-x) -1)/(6(e^x-1)) (2-e^(-x))/(6e^x)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i believe you have an error creep in when you derived to the 5th line (2xe^x + x - 3e^x+3)/(3 (e^x-1)^2) , we are good to here 2e^x +2xe^x + 1 - 3e^x +0 ----------------------- 6e^x (e^x-1) 2xe^x + 1 - e^x --------------- 6e^x (e^x-1) 2x + e^(-x) - 1 --------------- 6 (e^x-1) which then we can take the last derivative
