Well....hint* lol what would happen if you multiply the top and bottom of the first fraction by 2x? would you get a common denominator there?

So \[\large \frac{3}{2x^2} \times \frac{2x}{2x} + \frac{5}{4x^3}\] Would then become \[\large \frac{6x}{\color \red{4x^3}} + \frac{5}{\color \red{4x^3}}\] And looky there, we have our common denominator :D

Correct...and that will be the end of it...it wont simplify anymore after you add them
