a radio signal travels at 3.00x10^8 meters per second. how many seconds will it take for a radio signal to travel from a sattelite to the surface of the earth if the sattelite is orbiting at a height of 3.45x 10^7 meters. show all work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3.00x10^8 is just 300,000,000 and 3.45x 10^7 is just 34,500,000 now if we look at how long it takes a radio signal to hit the ground we divide 3.45million into 300million it should get you .1s not rounded is .115s
