OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Equilibrium exists for all reactions when: A. neither products nor reactants are being formed (no reactions are occurring). B. the concentrations of products equals the concentrations of reactants. C. the forward and reverse reactions are both either endothermic or exothermic. D. none of the above.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@JoannaBlackwelder B?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

No, the concentrations don't have to equal. Equilibrium exists when the forward reaction is occurring at the same rate as the reverse reaction.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

So it's D?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Yep :-)

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Ahh okay :)
