help will medal and fan \[\frac{ 3^-6 }{ 3^? }=3^4 \] A. −10 B. −2 C. 2 D. 10

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

\[\large \frac{3^{-6}}{3^{x}} = 3^{4}\] So it's good to remember when you have exponents with the same base (3) in a fraction...you leave the base alone...and subtract the exponents Meaning here...we have \[\large -6 - x = 4\] And just solve for 'x'

so its -10 right?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Correct :)
