which reaction reacts an acid (which must always start with an \(H^{+}\) ion) and a base (which almost always ends with a \(OH^{-1}\) ion) to produce a salt and water?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NaOh

OpenStudy (cuanchi):

I see only one neutralization reaction and looks balanced to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in this question i think we would be considering h2o as source of OH^(-) as per that rxn a b and c can be considered as neutralisation rxns but all the three are balanced. The fourth reaction is neither neutralisation nor balanced therefore the answer should be (D).
