Which statement about a compound on this pH scale explains why it is the strongest acid? A. RbOH is a strong acid because it has the greatest pH. B. HCl is a strong acid because its pH is the lowest number on the pH scale. C. HIO3 is a strong acid because its pH is closest to 7. D. HBr is a strong acid because its pH is less than 7.

I'll be referring to the simplest definition of an acid; which is the presence of H3O in water. The greater amount of H3O molecules, the stronger the acid. If a solution has 1*10^-1 molecules of H3O it has alot more (actually vastly more) H3O than a solution 1*10^-14 molecules of H3O. Chemists have agreed to not write negative exponents and instead use aPH scale which is the negative log, which means the negative log of 10^-1 = 1. So the lower the number on the pH scale in reality has more H3O molecules which makes it more acidic.
