If the zeroes of a function are 3, 4, and -2i, which is the function? g(x) = x4 – 7x2 + 12x + 48 g(x) = x4 – 7x3 + 16x2 – 28x + 48 g(x) = x4 – x3 + 14x2 – 28x – 48 g(x) = x4 + x3 – 14x2 + 16x – 48

@Ahmad-nedal can you help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will it's quiet simple but a kinda headache :p Of course as a start, if -2i is solution, then 2i must also be one

OpenStudy (alekos):

if the zeros are 3,4 and -2i there has to be a 4th zero of +2i so we have (x-3)(x-4)(x+2i)(x-2i) from here we expand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A function that has these zeroes is (x-3)(x-4)(x-2i)(x+2i)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right so ? how would I solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You required to find the function that satisfies the conditions given, so expand and you're finished
