How many moles of solute are contained in a 250.0 ml solution with a concentration of 2.5 M? 625 moles 0.10 moles 10 moles 0.63 moles

i think its b

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

It's actually a because n=cv so therefore n=2.5x250=625

You can also tell based off of what units have to cancel out. Your concentration is in M which means it's mols/mL and your volume is in mL. n is measured in moles so to get moles you have to multiply c and v to cancel out mL.
