What is the final volume of a solution if 100.0 mL of 3.5 M NaCl is diluted to 2.5 M?

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

First you need to determine the number of moles in the initial solution using the formula n=cv where c is your concentration and v is the volume. Using the number of moles you found previously you can use the equation v=n/c with your c being the final concentration that you want. I hope that makes sense if it doesn't I can walk you through it if you want!
