When are more products of a reaction available initially than at equilibrium? A. K = 0 B. Q > K C. Q < K D. Q = K
@Hoslos @rvc
B when reaction quotiont is greater am i right
Do not they specify weither it is a composition or decomposition reaction?
No they don't specify.
Then it shall be B.
Thanks!
Which of the following is always true about a reaction at equilibrium? A. Both the forward and reverse reactions continue to occur. B. The concentration of the products is equal to the concentration of the reactants. C. The reactants are completely used up. D. The concentration of the products is not equal to the concentration of the reactants.
B
You're 100% sure?
A.
What happens when the Gibbs free energy associated with an equilibrium reaction is negative? A. Both the forward reaction and the reverse reaction are spontaneous. B. The forward reaction is nonspontaneous and the reverse reaction is spontaneous. C. The forward reaction is spontaneous and the reverse reaction is nonspontaneous. D. Both the forward reaction and the reverse reaction are nonspontaneous.
@rvc, the trick was that they wanted you to consider when changes like pressure, temperature and concentration of substances is involved. As this happens, the system shifts as to oppose such changes, but at the mean time, they are not always equal. That is why is more general to say that the reactions continue to occur.
C?
You think C. The forward reaction is spontaneous and the reverse reaction is non spontaneous?
Haha, the way you asked is as if my answer is wrong. Hehe, that is what I believe. For me, otherwise is the other way round, because I confiund that at times.
Sorry! I didn't mean for it to be taken that way! I just wanted to make sure you were saying C to this question! :)
What does the rate of a reaction determine? A. The amount of reactants B. The amount of products C. The equilibrium of the reaction D. The speed of the reaction

No need to apologize. I am definetely going for C.
Was I correct for the previous question?
Rate means something over time. It will be equilibrium.
hey net problem here :) sorry whats going on?
