OpenStudy (bruno102):

To make a 2.0-molar solution, how many moles of solute must be dissolved in 0.50 liters of solution? 0.25 moles solute 0.50 moles solute 1.0 mole solute 2.0 moles solute

OpenStudy (bruno102):

I am a bit confused, I think it might be C. @taramgrant0543664

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

2.0 is your concentration or your molarity (M) the equation is: M=mols of solute/volume (Lets say moles of solute is represented by x) So 2.00M=x/0.5L 2*0.5=x So yes it is C, 1.0mols of solute

OpenStudy (bruno102):

Thanks so much :)
