OpenStudy (bruno102):

Why are concentration units of mole fraction used in some colligative properties calculations? Mole fraction expresses concentration more accurately than molarity. Mole fraction does not depend on the chemical identity of the solute. Mole fraction is easier to measure in the laboratory than molarity or molality. Mole fraction is not affected by changes in temperature.

I have no clue about this one. @taramgrant0543664

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

mole fraction is used most often because colligative properties depends mainly on the quantity of solute molecules present, not necessarily their identity.

OpenStudy (bruno102):

So would it be B?

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

I would believe so

OpenStudy (bruno102):

Ok thank you! I have another I am posting to check my answer :)
