This is how i did it..... Given: 320Hz, N = 14, t = 7sec Solution: F = N/t = 14times/7sec = 2Hz Fb = f1 +- f2 fb = 320Hz + 2 Hz fb = 322Hz or fb = 318Hz

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

either could be true in this case!!

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

am i right?????????????o_O

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

This is like the problem we did yesterday, \[\huge f_{beats} = |f_2-f_1|\] \[\large f_{beats} = \frac{ 14 }{ 7 } = 2 Hz\]\[2Hz = |f_2 - 320 Hz| \implies \pm 2 Hz = f_2-320HZ\] so yes! You're good!

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

actually that problem is coming right now...right after this question!!! LOL

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

Again thanks !!! :)
