Yes, your first question is D. Because Zn is less reactive than Ba. You can check it in the activity series list.

In the second one you just have to simplify. a) C2H6 - C4H12 / They both come from the same empiric formula CH3 (see if i multiply CH3 by 2, i get the first formula and if do it by 4 i get the other one) b) C3H6O3 -C2H4O2 / Empiric formula for this pair is CH2O, 1st is multiplied by 3 and 2nd is multiplied by 2 Feel free to do the other one. Hint: U can't simplify 1 atom. Like i didnt keep reducing CH2O or CH3

I don't think you're even trying. About your third question Indeed, 1.3 moles of X are left over, and Y is the limiting reactant, because if you wanted to react 4 mol of X you would need 6 mol of Y, which you dont have.

Go for C, since they maybe made a mistake at D and typed C2H6 instead of C2H8.
