atomic number is equal to the no of protons which is again equal to the no of electrons so for sulfur there are 26 electrons. U have given the mass number ! mass number contains no. of neutrons+ protons. Usually the mass number of sulfur is 32 and sodium is 23 that is why I said. IT is not the no. of electrons.
