Container A has 1 mole of a gas in a 2 L container kept at 2 atm of pressure. Container B has 1 mole of gas in a 2 L container kept at 1 atm of pressure. Which container has the higher temperature? A. Both containers have the same temperature B. Container A C. Not enough information to determine which has the higher temperature D. Container B

You can determine this using the ideal gas law of PV=nRT P is pressure, v is volume, n is moles, R is the ideal gas constant (0,0821) and T is temperature. I the first case n=1, v=2, and P=2 PV=nRT (2)(2)=(1)(0.0821)T T=? You do the same for the second container and that should help you decide which answer is right
