to me that reaction doesn't look like double replacement
In double displacement they switch places as I've shown above so I agree with @Photon336 with it not looking like a double displacement
yeah you explained it nicely, is it possible for a double replacement to be endothermic? I guess you can't really tell just by looking at the reaction, you would need the bond energies or enthalpy of reaction or something i guess.
You would have to look at the enthalpies of the products and the reactants in order to determine exoteric or endothermic
