To titrate 50.00 milliliters of an unknown HC2H3O2 sample, use 43.00 milliliters of a standard 0.1000 M NaOH titrant. What is the molarity of the HC2H3O2? 0.1000 M 0.08600 M 0.1163 M 2150 M

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

Step 1: convert all volumes to litres Step 2: Determine moles of NaOH using n=cv, where n is the moles you are solving for, c is the concentration so 0.1M and v is the volume so 43mL (but making sure you convert it into litres) Step 3: Determine concentration of HC2H3O2 to do this use the formula c=n/v, where c is the concentration that you are finding, n is the moles that you find in step 2, and v is the volume so 50mL (again making sure you have converted it into litres)
