In a titration, 25.0 mL of 0.500 M KHP is titrated to the equivalence point with NaOH. The final solution volume is 53.5 mL. What is the value of M1 for the reaction? 25 0.5 53.5 28.5
m1v1=m2v2 m1=(m2v2)/v1 Where m is the molarities and v is the volumes
I keep getting 1.07? :/ @taramgrant0543664
Ya me too KHC8H4O4(aq) + NaOH(aq) → KNaC8H4O4(aq) + H2O(l) Is the balanced formula so they are in a 1:1 ratio because of the stoichiometric coefficients So the moles remain constant n=mv, n is the moles, m is molarity, v is volume so since the moles are constant you can use the m1v1=m2v2
I really don't think any of those options are right unless I'm complete screwing it up which I could be since I just woke up, lol let me tag a few people they might be able to figure it out
