I understand that it is endothermic, I just don't get how I use it to determine the enthalpy change of the reaction

The Y axis is energy and the X axis is reaction progress. If you look at the graph you can see two things: the first is that you subtract the difference in energy (products - reactants)

Usually they would give you energy values like point C and point A and you would subtract C-A
