how do I find x intercept for "3y = 9x + 15"? I found the y intercept, I just need help with the x.

Keep it fractional. Just reduce \(-\dfrac{15}{9}\)

3y = 9x + 15 when you solved for y, you got y=5, yes? your point here became (0, 5) and when you set y to 0, you got (-15/9 , 0) or (-1.666... , 0) You just have to kind of eyeball the -1.66... it's a little bit past the -1.5 but no where near the -2
I was wrong, in stating what your points are, i would prefer writing my point as \(-15/9, 0) but in graphing it, -1.6 is fine.
