can someone help me pls
E bisects
sure I will try :)
ok wait ill finish the question
e bisects df with a line over it, de =2y and ef=8y-3 find de ef and df
since E bisects DF, DE is equal to EF, so 2y = 8y-3 solve for y 3=6y .5 = y so both DE and EF = 1 DF = DE + EF = 2 or if E bisects DF, that means DE = EF. Therefore, 2y = 8y - 3 3 = 6y y = 0.5 DE = 1 EF = 1 DF = 2
ok thanks
sure :)
any other question
yea. During a football game, a quarterback standing at the 9-yard line passes the ball to a receiver at the 24-yard line. The receiver then runs with the ball halfway to the 50-yard line. How many total yards (passing plus running) did the team gain on the play?
From the 9 yrd. line to the 24 yard line is 15 yards. Then it says he ran the ball HALFWAY to the 50 yard line. So he didn't quite make it to the 50 yard line. SO: 50-24 = 26.. so 26 yards is the total distance from the 24 yard line to the 50 yard line. But.. he only ran half of it. So 26/2 = 13. So.. 15 + 13 = 28 yards total gained on the play.
thanks again
yeah is that it if not just tag me :)
ok
