Which of the following is the correct Lewis structure for sulfur?

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

The atomic number of sulphur is 16. Its electronic configuration is 2,8,6. So the number of valence electron is 6. In Lewis structure, the electrons around the Element indicates the number of Valence electron. Since option B has 6 electrons, the answer is B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer could also be A, as there are also six. Which one is it, then?
