Nitrogen gas reacts with oxygen gas to form NO2 (g). If oxygen is consumed at a rate of 1.6 x 10-2 M/s, determine the rate of formation of NO2 (g).

Write an equation for the process as you need the stoichiometric coefficients to relate their rates
N2 + 2O2 ->2 NO2
So their rates are related by their coefficients, like this: \(-\dfrac{\Delta [O_2]}{2}=\dfrac{\Delta [NO_2]}{1}\)
