Part A: What is the solution to the pair of equations represented by p(x) and f(x)? (3 points) Part B: Write any two solutions for f(x). (3 points) Part C: What is the solution to the equation p(x) = g(x)? Justify your answer. (4 points)
@Michele_Laino can you help me one more time?
I'm thinking by any two solutions of f(x) it just means any two points of the the line.
Part A: the solution is (2,6) Part B: idk Part C: idk
thats what i was thinking as well but i wasnt sure
I'm pretty sure that's it.
i mostly need help with part c
For C just look at where p(x) touches g(x) on your graph.
oh so thats (3,6)
Yeah! It's just like part A.
hold on
You messed up on part A! Just a little error.
its 6,2 yeah i messed up whoops haha
Part A: the solution for p(x) and f(x) is (6,2) Part B: two possible solutions for f(x) are (0,-4) and (4,0) Part C: the solution for the equation p(x) = g(x) is (3,6) because thats where the two lines intersect so thats the only possible solution for that equation.
Yep!
okie dokie thanks so much for your help!
