relate the properties of water to its polarity and hydrogen bonding between molecules

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aha water molecules love each other because of the V shaped molecule and configuration of its molecules are electronegative which results in dipole dipole forces produced.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hydrogen bonding is the strongest bonding out there, and as such water molecules love to stick together as a result. Water molecules I believe have dipole dipole attraction and hydrogen bonding. Take the classical example of water not spilling out of the cup even if the volume exceeds it by a bit.

@robert136 wonderfully explained.
