OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. They don’t move very much and do not change position. B. They crash into each other and bounce all around. C. They move very quickly and across great distances. D. They never move at all.

Kinetic energy in molecules is alot less than the other 2 main states (Liquid and Gas), so that there isn't enough to break the bonds between molecules. There's always kinetic motion. (Unless it's absolute zero). But it takes alot more energy to break the bonds in a metal, than say, Oxygen. So at room temperature, the metal stays solid and the Oxygen is gas. So it's A. They don't move much. (If they didn't move it'd be Absolute Zero, which is reaaally hard to reach).
