iqr = 3rd quartile - 1st quartile = 4.3 - 1.1 = 3.2 outliers are 1.5*IQR away from quartiles 1.5* 3.2 = 4.8 lowest number FOR NO OUTLIER S= 1st quartile - 1.5*IQR = 1.1-4.8 = -3.7 ***minimum data point is 0.3, which is more than 3.7, so there are no outliers on the low end. highest number FOR NO OUTLIERS = 3rd quartile + 1.5*IQR = 4.3+4.8 = 9.1 ***maximum data point is 10.5, which is more than 9.1, so there ARE outliers on the high end
