An express train passes through a station. The nose of the train enters with an initial velocity of 19.0 m/s and decelerates at a rate of 0.10 m/s2 as it goes through. The station is 250 m long. If the train is 130 m long, What is the velocity of the end of the train as it enters the station?(Round your answer to one decimal place and answer in m/s)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[v_f^2=v_i^2+2ad\] \[v_f^2=(19.0 m/s)^2+2(-0.10 m/s^2)(250 m + 130 m)\]

the end of the train has to travel the length of the train and station, so add the distances

Thank you so much, I was overlooking adding both distances.
