If 79.5 mol of an ideal gas occupies 99.5 L at 39.00 °C, what is the pressure of the gas? and If 57.5 moles of an ideal gas is at 6.51 atm at 90.70 °C, what is the volume of the gas?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

For both situations use the below equation \[PV =nRT\] P= pressure in pascals V= Volume in cubic metres n= no. of moles R = universal gas constant = 8.314 JKmol^-1 T= temperature in kelvin. \[P = \frac{ nRT }{ V }\]

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Pressure needs to be in atm.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

I thought it should be in pascals ! that is Nm^-2
