A two-cell electrolysis with aqueous nickel(II) sulfate and dilute calcium hydroxide solution as electrolytes is carried out. In Cell 1 with Nickel(II) Sulfate as electrolyte, Nickel are used as electrodes. In Cell 2 with dilute aqueous Calcium Hydroxide, graphite is used as electrodes. What will happen in cell 1 and Cell2?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

This is a redox reaction, so one of the electrodes will be reduced and one oxidized. Use the reduction potentials to see the direction of electron flow
