ACT PREP Q/ PLEASE HELP:
@Utterly_Confuzzled :-)
@Nnesha @pooja195
You can find the axis of symmetry by finding the vertex using the formula \[\frac{ -b }{ 2a }\] The answer you get should be the axis of symmetry. Then you just rank them from there. And if you need help with h(x)'s axis of symmetry, let me know
@Utterly_Confuzzled could you do a step by step? I really need to know how to do this and this is like my study guide time:-)
@Utterly_Confuzzled please?:-)))
f(x)=3(x+4)^2+1 =3(x^2+8x+16)+1 =3x^2+24x+49 -24/2(3) = -4 f(x) axis of symmetry = -4 Give me a sec to do g(x) and h(x)
g(x)=2x^2-16x+15 16/2(2) = 4 g(x) axis of symmetry = 4 h(x) axis of symmetry = 1 rankings - f(x), g(x), h(x)
thank you so much! Now what do i do
I think that's all you needed to do
just write out all of those?
WOW thank YOUUUU
:-D
Yeah. What I typed showed work, so that should be fine. Do you understand how I got those though?
