find the minimum value of f(x,y)=y-x+1 for the polygonal convex set determined by this system of inequalities. x>=0 y>=0 2x+y<=4

imqwerty (imqwerty):

yea now its correct :)

imqwerty (imqwerty):

so u have this- |dw:1443714416094:dw| we got those points (2,0) and (0,4) like this- we have the equation 2x+y<=4 so 1st lets graph 2x+y=4 we jst need the intercepts so to find the x intercept put y=0 and we get x intercept=2 to find y intercept put x=0 we get y intercept=4 so we have a triangle which has vertices -(0,0) , (2,0) , (0,4) and the max value of function occurs at the vertices so try them nd u get min value =-1 on putting (2,0)

(2,0) is the minimum?
