You're trying to find \(g(f(x))\) when \(x=-6\) Start with finding what \(g(-x-2)\) is first. that means in your function for \(g(x)\) you plug in \(-x-2\) wherever you see an \(x\)

once you expand that out, plug in the value of \(-6\) for \(x\) and simplify your equation.

alternatively, find \(g(-6)\) and then take \(f\) of the result

Ok, so what happens when you expand \((-x-2)^2\) ?

You get -x - 4 ?

Not quite :( let's try this. \[(-x)^2 -2(-x)(4) +(4)^2\] whats that give you? :)
