Will fan and medal! Please please please help :c What is the volume of the container needed to store 0.8 moles of argon gas at 5.3 atm and 227°C? (Given: R = 8.314 l · kPa/K ·mol) 2.81 liters 4.39 liters 6.19 liters 9.67 liters

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Use PV=nRT

OpenStudy (rushwr):

P = pressure in Pa V= volume in cubic meters n= no. of moles R= universal gas constant T = temperature in kelvin So make sure that u convert the pressure and temperature to the respective units

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm, so.. b?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

wait I didn't calculate !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh, okay, sorry ._.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

C it was

OpenStudy (rushwr):

As you can see the universal gas constant is given in kPa so have to convert Pa to kPa

OpenStudy (rushwr):

show me your work ! I'll see where you went wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hold on I have to write it in the equation thingie and my internet is crapping out x.x

OpenStudy (rushwr):

okai !
