Notice that f(x) is a polynomial everywhere, but it is changing at x=3 you need to worry about just that point for continuity, because polynomials are continuous everywhere

for the function to be continuous at \(x=3\), we must have : \[\lim\limits_{x\to 3^{-}} f(x) = \lim\limits_{x\to 3^{+}}f(x) = f(3)\]
