-2-Find the AGI and taxable income. Gross Income $67,890 Adjustments $0 3 Exemptions $24,600 Deduction $1469 $69,440 and $45,300 $68,990 and $42,831 $67,890 and $41,821 $65,551 and $44,821

Sorry I was away for sometime.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okey lets find the answer I'm taking a test am missing this 3 question

OpenStudy (rushwr):

3) AGI = Gross income - adjustments therefore the answer here is AGI = $30,856 - $750 = $30106 The taxable income = AGI - (exemptions +deductions ) Taxable income = $30,856 - ( $8200 + $2300) = $19,606 So the answer for the 3rd one is 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about the other one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the AGI and taxable income. Gross Income $67,890 Adjustments $0 3 Exemptions $24,600 Deduction $1469 $69,440 and $45,300 $68,990 and $42,831 $67,890 and $41,821 $65,551 and $44,821

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Since there's no adjustments , AGI = gross income The only answer showing that AGI = gross income is the 3rd answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im lost

OpenStudy (rushwr):

As in ?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Earlier I said AGI = gross income - adjustment right? there it says that the adjustment = $0 therefore AGI = Gross income - 0 that makes AGI = Gross income.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

In the answers given the only answer showing that relationship (AGI = gross income= $67,890) is the 3rd answer . So we can directly go for an answer without finding the taxable income.
