Will Medal, and fan! Would appreciate some help thank you! Using the wave image, what is the frequency? (Show how to set up the equation)

Here is the picture to my ?

Hello, A fundamental equation for waves is \[v = f \lambda\] where \[\lambda\] stands for the wavelength, f is the frequency and v is the speed of the wave. The wavelength is, according to the image, 3 meters, whereas the speed is 423m/s. Putting it all together: \[423 m/s = f*3m\] \[f = \frac{ 423m/s }{ 3m\ } = 141Hz\] So the frequency is 141Hz, or 141 cycles per second
